Before I starting writing YA fiction, I had a varied career history. I earned a Journalism degree, wrote feature articles for newspapers, managed advertising campaigns and taught English to middle-school students.
Never a fan of punching the clock, I followed my entrepreneurial tendencies and opened a tearoom and, then, a cupcake business. Now, I use my marketing expertise to run a brand marketing consulting firm. At my core, I’ve always been a writer and love the way a well-written story to transport you to another place.
I’ve completed two YA contemporary novels and though I seem to be in the never-ending revision loop, am polishing a synopsis and query for submission.
I live with my husband, two daughter, two dogs and a kitten (who is cuter than cute)in an historic house that, surely, has plenty of its own stories to tell.
